BIOGRAPHY

I was in my 50s when I realised a long held dream
to study art by undertaking a Foundation Art Course.
This led on to a BA (1st class Hons) Drawing and
Applied Arts and an MA in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking
at UWE (University of West of England)

My life experiences have proved an invaluable source
of inspiration and background to my art work.

In my early life a desire to see the world took me from
rural Worcestershire to work in Paris. Here I immersed
myself in museums and art galleries. The next pull was
to ‘swinging London’ in the late ‘60s’ where I trained as
a nurse and absorbed the changing fashions around
me. After nursing in Zambia, I came to Bristol in 1974
to work in public health.

I regularly exhibit in galleries in Bristol and the
South West. As an artist at the Botany Arts Studios
I take part in the St Werburghs Art Trail.
